If God will shew thee more, he shall be thy light, thou need none but him.

You can shine light by sharing the light in your heart with the one close to you, the same way as the one close to your heart but far from the light of your sight.

I sleep better when the light is off, but in the middle of the night I look for the light because I'm scared of darkness.

That GOD always gave us light in our doubts when we had no other design but to please Him.

One ray of light from out Thy dwelling-place to pierce my night, oh God, and draw me near.

He Himself is the sun, the light, and the lighted.

Then the Blessed Virgin took her by the hand, and led her to a house exceeding fair, which was built of square stones deeply laid, and which had no window, yet which within was full of light.

Above the same eye of my soul, above my mind, the Light Unchangeable. Not this ordinary light, which all flesh may look upon, nor as it were a greater of the same kind, as though the brightness of this should be manifold brighter, and with its greatness take up all space. Not such was this light, but other, yea, far other from all these.

The more that a man is joined to Thee and the more that he is gathered together in Thee, the more he understandeth without labour high secret mysteries, for he hath received from above the light of understanding.

There be two days or two lights. The first is a false light, the second a true light.

Thus God is a common light and a common splendour, enlightening heaven and earth, and every man, each according to his need and worth

Like as the air is stricken by the sunbeam, and by the shining of his light is altogether shining

For the light is from the Good, and an image of the Goodness, wherefore also the Good is celebrated under the name of Light; as in a portrait the original is manifested

A Big Bang, like a star's birth, Light and Darkness breathing each other. The beginning is from the point of view of the end. We always think of the beginning as the starting point. But what if the beginning only exists because the end already happened? What if Darkness is only Light at rest, and Light is only Darkness in motion, and arrival isn't the destination; it's the perspective?
