The Song Celestial, or Bhagavad-Gita

Edwin Arnold · 1885

Arnold turned the Sanskrit into English verse so it could be read aloud, and he keeps the poem a poem. A dialogue between a prince who has stopped and the voice answering him, about action, stillness, and what a person is made of. The light in it is never argued for. It is simply what is left when the obstruction goes.
